Name Changes

Wednesday, April 17, 2013
As you lovely people may or not be aware of, I was married to a wonderful guy I didn't know could exist in real life on March 9, 2013!

You know the "rule" that says:
"The first time the groom should see his bride on the wedding day is at the altar."

Yeah...well we spent the day before together and most of the day of!
We even played basketball that morning with his brothers Tim and Adam, and good friend Erik!
Not to mention we went to lunch with his family that afternoon too.

But we kept the tradition of not allowing him to see me in my dress until the altar.
So I didn't completely fail the wedding rules.

But right before I left to get all done up with my wonderful bridesmaids and him
to chill with his groomsmen, his dad took a photo.

We were definitely excited to be husband and wife later that day:]
Thank you for the photo, Dan the Man!

Officially Muurried!

I suppose the next step in my marriage is to change my last name.  But I have to admit, I am dreading going to the Social Security office, the DLD, the bank, etc.  Those places are feeding grounds for
waiting and waiting and frustrated people.  Not to mention a required piece of paper for all this
—AKA our marriage license—
was lost in the mail or sent back to sender because we are apartment B, but the Postal Service has us as apartment #2, so they just thought "Well that is strange, because the number 2 and B are never related..."  -__-

Also, in case you haven't noticed yet, I changed the name of my blog!
I was never a huge fan of the last one and thought this to be fitting and a lot better!

Partly because I think the things we blog about are what keep us happy, content, and sane.
Also because I have this thing about old keys, so it just made sense!

I am absolutely obsessed with them. They are SO NEAT!
If anyone ever wanted to give me a gift for my birthday, and they decided to give me a few old, legit keys, I would be happy as a clam!

(Food for thought: why are clams so happy?  I most definitely have no idea)

While you contemplate, or "Google" that question, here are some photos
of my favorite part of our new home!

This is an awesome tree decal in the entrance of our home.
The instructions told us the extra leaves were to fill in the tree, but
Mark had a better idea.  I like the look of leaves blowing in the wind a lot more than just a tree.

That photo in the top left is actually a blown up photo from our Engagements, that once
again, Mark took the liberty of ordering.
He is so dang crafty! More than I have ever been.
